Reason 1: I get to marry my best friend.

Well- 365 blogs are the thing to do I suppose. Having followed a couple of them religiously, I have finally given in and created my own. I was mostly waiting for an exciting reason to blog and it finally came last Sunday when my best friend asked me to marry him. So here I begin this journey to blog every day. Topic? 365 reasons why life is good. No matter how crazy or rough life gets- there is always something good about it.

Reason 1 why life is good? I get to marry my best friend. We began dating in December 2006- I was a junior in high school, he was a senior. We were comfortable as friends but after holding hands as a joke, we realized we felt something a lot more. He graduated from Dixie High School in 2007 and started at Dixie State College. I graduated from Dixie High in 2008 and began school at Brigham Young University. Then he left on his mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints to Boston, Massachusetts in July 2008. Six months into his missionary service he was injured and was flown home to have his ankle reconstructed. After a long and slow recovery, he returned to Boston in June 2009. Finally, he returned home to stay on December 16, 2009 (ironically, the three year anniversary of our first kiss). He proposed last Sunday, February 21, 2010 and we will be getting married on June 19, 2010 in the St. George, Utah temple!

Life is definately good :-)
