Reason 122: Green Bay Packers

Monday, February 7, 2011.

The Green Bay Packers won the Superbowl.  Heck yes!  It was a fantastic night- we had a party at Chelsea's house with some of the other people from my major.  Lot's of good food, laughter, and of course a big fat "W" when it matters most!

This is my brother and his celebration video.  Haha I love this!

And this is the Aaron Rodgers "I am going to Disney World!" video.  I wish I could join you.

I LOVE THE GREEN BAY PACKERS!

Reason 121: Costco and such

Thursday, February 3, 2011.

I love productivity.  And Costco.  AND Macey's.  After classes and volleyball I went grocery shopping at both stores.  Doesn't Costco have the most delicious samples?  I need to go more often.  I also got some gelato and Costco... so good!  Tonight was devoted to cleaning.. I hate going into the weekend with a messy apartment.  Lots of laundry, dishes, cleaning, organizing, reorganizing, etc.  I also attempted to make Jason's favorite meal and it turned out to be an epic success!  It's called "Special Wrapped Chicken."  You take chicken breasts, wrap them in bacon, and sprinkle rosemary on them.  You bake them on 350 degrees for one hour.  Pull them out, drain the fat off, and add a mixture of cream of mushroom soup and one cup of sour cream.   Then you bake again from 30 minutes.  Way easy, right?  I guess I couldn't really fail at this one... but I'm still proud!

Tomorrow night is BYU MEN'S VOLLEYBALL!  Everyone needs to be there... this is a big deal!  BYU is ranked #3 and UCLA is ranked #4- can you say crazy?  Go to this facebook page (BYU Men's Volleyball) and you can get a FREE voucher for the game.  7 pm tomorrow and Saturday night.  Be there. It will seriously be awesome.  And for those of you blog readers outside the greater Provo area, you can watch all home games LIVE on BYU-TV!  Woot!

Reason 120: Conquering Wednesdays

Tuesday, February 1, 2011.

Every Wednesday is a battle.  Basically it is the longest day of my life- ever.  I am mentally preparing for tomorrow, knowing that it's my second to last "real" Wednesday before I have surgery.

6:00 am- Yoga
9:00 am- Marriage and Family (Great Class, Brother Dorius is highly recommended)
10:00 am- Clinical 4
11:00 am- American Literature
12:00 pm- Chemistry
1:00 pm- Eat, practice the piano.  Jason is taking private voice lessons and I'm his accompanist.
2:00 pm- Men's Volleyball.  Tape, treatments, etc.
3:00 pm- Men's Volleyball Practice
6:00 pm- Finish practice, close training room, go home to eat.... quickly.
7:00 pm- Work.  I ref water polo for intramurals... not real water polo, they are in tubes :)
10:00 pm- Go home.  Breathe a sigh of relief.  Success.  Easy sailing til next Wednesday!

Except for that little thing called a chemistry test....sigh.  I am super excited for this weekend, though!  Men's volleyball is playing UCLA in the Smith Fieldhouse on Friday AND Saturday night at 7 pm! And the fam-in-law is coming up to visit... pretty stoked :)

Eight days til surgery.  I had a crazy thought today... maybe I will be able to RUN again after this surgery! Well, not soon.  Rehab is expected to be anywhere from 8 months to a year.  But maybe by 2012 I can run again... that'd be a blessing.  I miss it so much.

Congrats to Jocelyn and Skyler!  I am super happy for them and wish them all the happiness in the world!
